The Dragon and the Star

I am so done with this. DONE I SAY! I really liked the sketch I did, but then I had to figure out how to colour it and got stuck on that...and then I had a strike of inspiration but it didn't happen the way I wanted it...and then BACKGROUND aalsdfkjsf D:

Anyyyway, this drawing was requested by
She asked me to draw Xing Cai from the Dynasty Warrior games and Ryu Hayabusa from the Ninja Gaiden games as a romantic couple. It's my first request ever! Thank you, Azaki Despite the troubles along the way, I had fun with this piece. I discovered a while ago that not only do I suck at romance in real life, I also can't draw it, so this was an interesting challenge. The new way of colouring was also fun (that is, until I realized it didn't work out the way I wanted), I tried some form of soft cell-shading where the shadow has quite a range of colour/opacity gradients, which makes the image much more lively! Or at least, it should have
